My love for God became increasingly obsessive, I wanted to meet and know him at all costs. What is the point of living, if you never meet your maker? And once you are in relationship with the creator then would not your relationship with the world and people change? I decided the only way to God, was to follow my inner voice. It started to guide every aspect my life. My union with the Divine felt centuries-old, and even though separated, we were destined to unite. Through God, I became related to the entire universe, and felt a desire to honour, preserve and cherish everything with respect and love. This wondrous relationship softened me, and I felt kindness for the first time in several years. My union with God gave me everything. I realized my new role would be to nurture, support, and be responsible. This new romance with God and the world beyond, matured me while awakening a youthfulness within.
